I know you’re saying, “Get to the point, what’s the best material for outdoor furniture?” I hate to leave you on the fence but the final decision is ultimately up to you. If you want something lightweight, chic, modern, and low-maintenance, go with synthetic resin wicker furniture. Looking for wood furniture suitable for the outdoors, go with teak. Looking for metal furniture? Stick with aluminum unless you want an eclectic design. In that case, wrought iron will likely offer more ornate options. Plastic Resin – Plastic resin is cheap, flimsy, unattractive, and fragile. Only good for temporary use. PVC Wicker – PVC wicker LOOKS like HDPE Wicker but when you find out what it’s really made of, you’ll see that it is not the best material to be used on outdoor furniture. Not only that, it is not recyclable like HDPE Wicker. Bare Metals – Bare metals will rust when exposed to rain and moisture. Make sure that any furniture you purchase is coated with a rust-proofing material. Where to Buy Outdoor Patio Furniture .

We received our chairs and absolutely love them. Thank you and we will be sure to recommend your company to others.
Most iconic chairs are extremely expensive to purchase. No so for Adirondack chairs! Given the ubiquity of these chairs, the variety of material types, and classic universal look and feel, these are a must in virtually any backyard. They are available in many designs, from cheap plastic to classic wood to beautiful poly resin materials, and hit every budget.
These chairs are built with stainless steel hardware for a rust-free finish, and all of the fasteners are not visible when the chair is viewed from the front. This gives a completely solid color facade, which is nice. One can see the screws on the seat, however.

I like the fact that synthetic resin could be so lightweight and easy to clean. My wife and I have been planning on making a comfortable outdoor area. I definitely think that we should focus on getting some comfortable low maintenance outdoor furniture.
This chair is fairly comfortable, which is important! It features a gently curved back, which makes prolonged sitting in the chair much more pleasant than sitting in chairs without a curved back.

The Adirondack chair (also called the Muskoka chair in Canada) was crafted of 11 flat wooden boards and had the classic straight-back seat and wide wooden armrests. This chair was originally designed by Thomas Lee while vacationing in Westport, New York — a small town in the Adirondack Mountains.
If properly cared for, you will be able to relax in your fine piece of poly furniture for many years!
This part is time-consuming and messy considering how many pieces there really are for making Adirondack chairs. I ended up covered in sawdust, or as my 5-year-old calls is “wood fuzz”.
